Exclusive look at DECO Bohemia

Exclusive look at DECO Bohemia

Balloons, bubbly, bites, and bands can only mean one thing: an epic Porter Lyons party is on the horizon. Ashley Porter of Porter Lyons has once again created a must-have jewelry line that beautifully captures a particular historical time in New Orleans. This time, the line focuses on the city’s rich culture in the 1920’s through a deluxe bohemian look at carefully crafted art deco jewelry.

Porter had limitless inspiration for this eighth collection in the form of unconventional chevrons, caged motifs, peacocks and much more. The successful designer will debut her casually elegant yet edgy jewelry line at the release party to take place on 10.24.15.

I’m here to give you an exclusive sneak peek at the relevant and timeless collection. (You’re welcome). A few of my favorite pieces consist of fun rings, elegant earrings and an edgy bracelet that will make you feel like you’re in The Great Gatsby.  Using gold, silver and mother of pearl in her pieces, Porter flawlessly captures the hearts of many, including the free-spirited wanderer.

If you can’t get enough of the lovely Porter Lyons designs and want to see the full collection in person while enjoying a magical night of 1920’s New Orleans, be sure to purchase your ticket to the release party: http://porter-lyons.ticketleap.com/t/SDW/. You’ll feel more than decadent trying on all of your favorite pieces.

Who says partying and shopping can’t be beneficial? In true Porter Lyons fashion, proceeds from the collection benefit the George Rodrigue Foundation & Longue Vue House and Gardens in an effort to protect local art culture. Caring is sharing, Lyons, so get out to the launch and enjoy a guiltless evening of socializing while celebrating the culture that makes New Orleans so special. We can’t wait to see you there.

While you’re waiting for the release of the new line, check out some of Porter Lyons’ current culturally inspired collections available now.

When Gabrielle isn’t writing or traveling the world, she’s gallivanting around her hometown of New Orleans as her friends’ “yes woman.” She enjoys daily afternoon naps with her cat and trying out a new brunch place every Sunday after church. Cheese and waffles (but not together), and golden sunsets are a few of her favorite things.
